Report: US to slap sanctions on 300 Duma deputies on Thursday

WASHINGTON, Mar 23 (PRIME) -- U.S. President Joe Biden plans to announce sanctions, agreed by the G7 states,  against 300 deputies of the Russian State Duma, the lower chamber of the parliament, on Thursday, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said late on Tuesday that the U.S. will announce new sanctions against Russia in the coming days.
